age is just a number

everything happens for a reason

what goes around comes around

as guys get older they get better looking,

as girls get older they lose their looks

God loves you no matter what

blue and green are great together

someone will always outdue you

its okay to give up sometimes

there is such thing as soul mates

fishing is never boring

pain is weakness leaving the body

sleeping and dreaming are way fun

friends are usually not forever
they can be sometimes but its rare

i wish i was a little bit taller
i wish i was a baller

and I don’t believe in tax giveaways that reward
companies for moving American jobs overseas

2nd May 2006

10:18am: Your eyes made lies true.
Say anything and I would believe you.

Life is coming at me pretty hard.
I saw United play a few weeks back. That was pretty awesome. Less the cost of gas it was free.
Last weekend I saw Dashboard. I liked it. It's funny that he's touring off a 3 year old album.

Picture season is upon us. I'm super excited about that. I shot Chelsea last weekend. Lots of good pictures from that.
I hope she likes them as much as i do.

Ben's next weekend. I think.

Next tuesday is this thing. It won't quite be this thing though. It will be a kickball tournament. There will also be other stuff to do if you're down with games with balls.
Our friend Chris Mackey is expected to be there.

Who's going to Colorado this summer? I think I am. I miss camps.

9:41am: Who needs a job?
Theres going to be a job at tyronis opening up. It's for a hostess/busser. A girl is a lot more likely to get it, but i'll recommend anyone that would show up.
It pays 6/hr. Plus you get 10% of everyone elses tips. So you walk out with cash at the end of the night i'd say from $10-$20. The girl thats quitting works friday and saturday night and sometimes thursdays. It starts at 5 and you'll get out by 9 at the latest. Well i think thats everything. Oh yeah and you get paid to hang out with me.

Long story short. Kites.

7:22am: so sad yet optimistic
What is the world coming to when Nick and Jessica get a divorce. America is falling apart before or eyes.

At least Ashlee isn't famous anymore.

21st March 2006

11:19pm: this is what i do
I woke up. Snowday. Of course for me everyday is a snow day.
I had lunch with Jesse Bartz at applebees.
Liz and Lauren sat with us for a bit.
It was clear to Jesse that I know everyone in Pekin.
I had some steak thing that was good.
Jesse is a pretty good guy. He's the youth pastor at fbc.
I talked to him about going there and junk.
I like him and the people there a lot. I hung out with people my own age.
It was weird and fun. But not as fun as chillaxin (hehe) with the people that I assume are reading this.
After lunch we hung out some more. We went sledding with his 4 year old Lydia. Adorable.
Most of the snow was gone by 2:30!
Came home, took a nap, talked to my dad, had heartburn, ate chilli anyways, played guitar, cleaned guitar, played guitar, watched tv, updated lj.
Tomorrow I will think about cleaning my room.

Dance All Night!

Map

3rd March 2006

1:33am: so yeah, yeah, so yeah.
today i cleaned up my room. talked to a pretty big jerk on the phone for 10 minutes trying to make this dance party thing happen. the outlook on that looks good. keep saturday the 12th open for a huge good time. everyone will be there. party hard.
I went to jeff and jesses for a this thing debriefing. things went pretty great. i have a really positive outlook for this thing. it's going to be huge. so keep it up. we had pizza from papa johns. ross and i left $5 on their piano since they didn't request money.
the tenth and caroline kids all got together tonight like old times. way old times. all we did was hang out in the kitchen and stuff you know stuff.
we'll get together next week too. but after that it will be all about this thing. yeah this thing. so yeah this thing.
on the really plus side the office is cleaned out. which means i have wayyyyyy too much stuff in my room and car. i can't really move around in my room and my car is still full. however i love having access to all my stuff.
my guitars live with me now. very good.

18th February 2006

10:41am: never give up
Our lives together are not over.
One thing has come to an end, it's not an end to all.
I still want to see everyone whenever I can and hang out as much as we used to.
I promise I'll go in next week and see about being a lunch monitor.
I hope everyone understands that it's my life too.
I've spent the last two years of my life devoted to all of you.
That won't stop, it can't stop.
My life will still consist of doing whatever I can through whatever outlet I can find.
I'm sad too. Thats just life. I hope it can all help us reach out to each other and grow.
I hope God taught you a lot of things through progress.
I really hope you can use those teachings and gifts to carry on the spirit of progress in your everyday life.
I know God looks down on all of you and all that you accomplished together and is proud.
We made a difference. All of us. Don't forget that. Don't let go of that. We can carry on. We will carry on.
I'm so proud of each and every one of you. You've made a huge impression on my life too. Keep it up.
I love you. All of you. Don't forget to encourage and pray for one another. thank you.

2:41am: thursday came and went
Progress happened to be sweet tonight. We had an amazing video which everyone should watch. Worship went pretty good for only practicing one song and not having ben. I have to say i'm pretty happy with everyone and how things are going. We had to set up more chairs! Nathan is a great speaker in my opinion, which actually matters. I see everyone really getting something from Nathan as he's speaking. I'm just really thrilled at how things are going. Keep it up everyone. FYI thursday runs a lot smoother with everyone helping. So thanks david caleb and angel for setting up chairs and stuff. We could always use the help if anyone wants stop by about 6 any given thursday. Any questions, comments, thoughts, interests or demands?

wednesnight::
went to applebees with matt cause he was home. met up with some people he knew from high school that i also kinda knew sort of.
we went to this girls house and picked up ross and then to this other girls trashy apartment and then to the lady.
very fun. the girls we went with were boring. we found other people we knew to hang out with and the girls we took got a ride from someone else.
we seriously danced the night away. before we knew it. the lights came on and they were closed. seriously. how lame.

thursday::
the normal turkey thing at my sister terri's house.
she has 4 dogs and 4 cats but one of the cats lives with us for some reason.

thursday night::
we sat in matts basement as stated in chris' journal.

friday::
worked on our future home.
then to ross' and stone country.
chad and some of his friends went. one of them is a new girl at pekin high. her name is jenna be nice to her. we also found new people to hang out with there. some of them followed us home. on the real. they hung out at ross' for awhile. i was their leader in junior high. 4 years later i end up dancing with them. crazy world. they left at 1 and we headed to the tub at matts. lots of people ended up there and it was sweet. lots of water ended up on the ground. i took ross and chad back home via allisons house. then i went back to allisons until 4. i did not realize how complex that night was.

saturday::
more work on the future home.
nap.
festival of lights with skyler, alisha, melody and josh.
we ditched alisha and skyler cause they were slow.
we stopped by ross' and watched some sweet discovery channel shows.
then went to the lady again. boring no one was there. we left earlier than 2.
i went straight home.

sunday::
slept through church.
worked at future home.
took some pictures of matt.

it got dark too fast to get anything great.

josh and april met us downtown. we went to chicago hut. two days in a row. not bad.
we went back to their house after. super cute and nice and all that jazz.

then lauren called and we hung out at her house and watched the family guy movie cause matt wanted to. all of us mostly slept run on sentence.

i best get lots of comments for all this effort and the privy of being part of my life.

18th November 2005

3:00pm: party
we will dance all night. walk the line comes out today i don't think i'll have time to see it. with a date anyways (ross & chris). tomorrow we'll see. our future home is getting done. things are coming together. only about 30 more pieces of drywall sanding painting cabinets and floor coverings. i guess that might put us as christmas. we're getting wood delivered tonight so we can keep warm. cause it's cold now.

18th October 2005

1:30pm: a real update
my fun filled weekend comes to an end on tuesday. friday football game in peoria. chris ross and i all didnt have enough money to get in so we jumped the fence behind some trees. i got a little scared when i had to walk by a cop on the way in. after that we went back to chris' and talked with his parents until chris needed to go to sleep. after that i decided to see if everyone was still hanging out at the elbo room for rodneys bachelor thing. were they ever. it was about 12:00 and i walked into keith singing Eye of the Tiger. I guess i had missed nathan singing Bohemian Rhapsody. While we were there i ran into my sister angie, it took her a moment to recognize me. she stood way too close to me the entire night. and blew smoke in my face. she new the owner and the cute (by comparison) bartender. then she said my hair was way too long, which it is and gave me $10 to get it cut. so now im just waiting for liz or anyone really to give me a hair cut. that was just Friday! saturday i woke up early to work on the house. we put up some drywall and went home super early. i took a quick nap then my mom woke me up nagging for me to drop my car off to get fixed. so i did that then i went to ross' then we went to applebee's with his neighbor. some alright looking girls came in and sat near us. they kept looking over but that may have been because we kept looking over at them. i gave ross an excuse to talk to them by throwing a menu by their table very smoothly. they laughed pretty hard. i didnt look over cause i was deep into a game of tetris. they ended up talking to us and said they were going bowling and they invited us. so we went. just ross and i. we basically just played video games and found out they were boring. and the only one who seemed interested in ross was the least attractive of the bunch. so we left and went to matt onkens birthday party. it was a fire in a field it was pretty good. i met jenni le. im surprised i've never met her up until this point. i should have met her a long time ago. i also met erin mccarthy. she's loud and i like that. im pretty sure i new ever boy there or else i would have met new guys too. lots of fun stuff happened during that way too much to explain, as this is the biggest entry ever. on sunday i woke up way too early. i picked up my unbroken car. i went to church it was pretty normal. then we had lunch at a family from churches house. ross and i had to eat and run since greg had decided that it would work better if we ate lunch there instead of dinner. so at 130 we went to take pictures of harleys. that was very cool the couple was super nice and we had lots of fun. then we went back to ross' ate some nachos and took more pictures of chad to finish up his seniors. we were really bored after that so we laid in ross' yard until we found out ben had a hockey game. so we went to that and sarah beal was there. she sat with us and was really cold cause she was in her tumbling clothes. but she played through it like a champ. bens team won by a lot. good job ice dragons. that was pretty much sunday. monday i got up and went to an interview at radio shack. but the manager was already in an interview so i had to come back in 40 minutes. gay. the lady was not good at interviewing and im not sure if it went good or bad. all she was doing was asking me questions and writing down the answers and never really looked at me. i went to ross' and he just got home. so we ate some food and dissected his ipod. watched a movie on tv and then went to the Denison Witmer show. he's really good. but theres not much of a show just easy listening. i think thats all but im done anyway.

11:06am: whooo football. it was sweet. pekin lost so bad. it's not that they played horribly at all the other team was just really good. the cheerleaders were great too. my throat hurts from screaming the cheers. i get paid 530 dollars to take some medication and sit in a chair for four hours after that. i guess i have to give them some of blood too. i'm heading out now to our future house to get some stuff done. hopefully we can get it ready and move in before winter. it's a lot closer to pekin as most of you know is where i spend most of my time. i think i might even move there when i grow up. bye
